Get rid of the OEM "Fix" for your Dodge Ram Adjuster sleeve where the "fix" for the safety recall is to weld the jam nuts to the adjuster sleeve. While this keeps the jam nuts from coming loose, it doesn't allow you to quickly or easily adjust your drag link to center the wheel. Our solution is a bolt in replacement that requires no modifications. Replacing the stock sleeve with our adjuster sl...

where can i purchase your adjuster sleeves?
steersmarts.com/collections/dodge-ram-2500-3500-parts-2012-2018/products/2013-2018-ram-2500-3500-upgraded-adjuster-sleeve-stock-draglink
@@SteerSmarts consider placing this info in the description
Can you talk about the bolt upgrade? Im seeing that the passenger side is too long ? More info please? 🙏🏻
@@Rick_Rdz that is our 9/16th bolt upgrade - the bolt is longer so we run it with the bolt head on the backside and the nut on the front (closest the front bumper). The track bar bolt that comes with the vehicles is a 14mm bolt but the bushings are slightly larger at 9/16th, so our bolt upgrade kit is just a slightly larger bolt that is grade 8 and magnicoated. Let us know if you have any other questions about it!
Another really bad video…not showing anything actually being done in real time.
@@Marie-kj3xf people don’t sit through entire installations from start to end. There is plenty of good info in this and the other videos. If you have questions about something specific please let us know - these components are pretty straight forward to install.
These guys didn’t show ANYTHING! Things just magically put themselves together at Steer Smarts…I wonder if sandwiches make themselves there as well…
Nice Job, this is awesome!
purchased, cant wait to put it all together. Sector shaft brace, drag link, and the tie rod, track bar along with the Stabilizer relocation bracket
Does this work on a 2020 Jeep Mojave? I see it doesnt for that year but all the others, just curious why?
@@airmech73 it definitely works for all JL and JT models, including the Mojave - no issues.
@@SteerSmarts thank you!
Great video. Just installed all of the front products and was having issues with clearance.
You guys just decided to just skip threading it on? Because I'm here trying to thread it together and it won't catch
@@BaptismOverland we just skipped threading it because it isn’t a step by step installation video and people won’t sit through and watch videos if they’re too long. When threading the ends make sure you have the correct end on the correct side of the tube - they are right and left hand threads and will only thread in on one side with the correct end.
@@SteerSmarts thank you. I did finally get it on but the paper instructions didn't specify which way to turn. Just a suggestion. Because it took awhile to figure out if it was catching or it's just spinning out. And then I couldn't find anything online. That being said I'm loving it though. Been really beefy on the trail! It's a damn tank
@@BaptismOverland sorry for the delay in response - it’s a crap shoot seeing comments on here. Can always reach out on our social pages or call/email. We have a number of instructions that we plan to revise as they were made when we first started and could use more detail. Sorry for the hiccup but glad you got it sorted and have been loving it since!
@@SteerSmarts totally fine! Glad to hear you guys are reworking the instructions. I've been very happy and now tempted to replace the other components soon
@@BaptismOverland let us know if you have any other questions about the other components we have available - they are top quality USA made products that definitely make a difference! Reach out on IG or FB and I can make sure to answer your questions and point you in the right direction.
Looks crazy! Can't wait LOL
I bet their ice cream specialty is Rocky Road😎
How do you get to become the offroad ice cream man. And why doesn't it play music?
😂 We're working on an application, and it does play Music, we just didn't have it going while we bombed through the dunes!
So if i plan on getting 37s and I'm on the 2.5 inch Mopar lift and have a terraflex adjustable steering stabilizer, will getting just the yeti adjustable track bar help with and or eliminate the wandering i already kind of experience on 35s?
I’d recommend our pro series track bar, and then make sure you have the correct caster and toe settings
@@SteerSmarts If I already have the adjustable one, not the pro, what's the life expectancy before the bushings need to be replaced to the poly urethane ones? Trying to decide whether or not to install the one I already had purchased before the pro or just return it and buy the pro or hold off all together.
@@tonygaines6819 completely dependent on usage - we’ve had people use the rubber bushings for 100k, but if you do a lot of off-roading and are running 37+ tires you’ll def wear the rubber out sooner.
So this video is a year old. What's the purpose of this bracket?
What amazes me the most that in 2018, Jeep still couldn't make parts that didn't shake and try to murder you just by driving and hitting a small bump... I'm half a century old. In my life, my Jeep JK Unlimited has, by a mile, been the worst vehicle I have ever owned. IN MY LIFE.
Why was the front driveshaft spinning if the only mods were the mopar 2" lift?
With this work with my ARB diff cover.
Arb diff has a slight interference where they made that fill plate on the top corner. A little bit of material ground down and some paint and it’ll clear with no issues though.
I purchased all the parts question I have is will the track bar work with an ARB diff cover?
Will this fit on a 2015 jk with rancho high steer knuckles and cav fab 1 ton tie rod and flipped drag link?
So I’m confused because you never disconnected the sway bars to start but yet you connected them at the end. I have the Reid racing high steer knuckle and anti rock. Why is this even necessary?
Tack bar relocation bracket is necessary when switching your drag link from the stock location (bottom mount) to the top side of the knuckle (top mount drag link). The reason it necessary when doing this is to keep the track bar and the drag link parallel. If you don’t relocate the track bar at the same time you will get bump steer and you will not enjoy the way the vehicle drives.
@@SteerSmarts yes I understand that part. What I’m asking is in the video you never disconnected the sway bars to start. But reconnect them at the end. I have already purchased your track bar relocation bracket and was watching your video before I installed it. I was looking at my Jeep and it doesn’t look like I need to disconnect my antirock sway bars to install your track bar relocation bracket. I guess that’s my question.
Need some cameras out there that’s nuts
A surprisingly uninformative video. Didn’t talk about hardware sizes, lots of cuts in assembly, little emphasis on the difference in stock vs replacement…good thing other UA-camrs have better videos.
Helped to add what? It cut off at the end. What’s the purpose?! Do I need to put these on?
They cover the only portion of the ends that isn’t coated, so they keep those shiny portions getting surface rust and also are an added portion of resistance to helping keep water out of the joint. You don’t HAVE to run them, but they do have benefits.
@@SteerSmarts Thanks. Surprised they don’t come preinstalled
So all these discounts and such....what about all of us that already purchased this merch and sucking a big Yeti...🤔
sorry for my ignorance but what does this do?
😂😂😂😂
What type of grease do you guys recommend? Installing my tie rod and draglink this weekend.
Any high quality synthetic will work, but we sell and use redline.
What’s the torque specs on the new ends for Tie Rod & Drag Link? Bought both during the Labor Day sale and they didn’t come with a torque spec card.
Should be on the ends on a tag near the stud - they also should have had tags between the nut and the plastic boot cover that calls out torque. Additionally, that information should be found in the installation instructions as well. Having said that, torque on the tapered stud end is 70-74 lb ft.
@@SteerSmarts appreciate the fast response!! I guess I should have downloaded the instructions via the website instead of just watching some UA-cam installation videos. 😂
Is this for the Jk. And I’m assuming this Will be a good replacement for my 4.5” lift, metal cloak game changer drag link?
grease/oil that nut before hamering on the support bearing.
I just finished installing mine. A rubber mallet is not necessary for install if you leave the steering box bolts slightly loose when you install the bearing. Doing this I was able to get the bearing on without a hammer. I then installed the bolts that hold the bearing to the brace fingertight. After tightening the frame bolts I went back and tightened the bearing bolts. This kit does make a night-and-day difference, I can finally track straight down the road and not constantly have to correct the wheel. I have 35 in tires on a 3 in teraflex lift and I use the teraflex HD front track bar and I had no fitment issues.
Love your products. If you guys make it I have it on my JL.
This is a ton of fun!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
😂
I put mine on and the steering wheel was not straight when done
That can happen because you’re disconnecting both the track bar and the steering box from the frame when you go to attach the bracket. Simply rotate the drag link adjuster one way or the other to get your steering wheel back to center.
Well done!! Great collaboration!!
Got a replacement nut, this one still not goes as smooth as the one in the video. Called Chris and he said, due to the coating it might be tight. If it goes in a few turns then just use socket and a wrench to tight it. What a great upgrade, the steering wheel is much tighter when rolling, can't wait to drive more.
Great choice as always guys. We could definitely use a good set of race line bead locks ourselves.
What is the ft lbs of torque on the drag link collar bolts once you straightened the steerin wheel? Great Video Thanks
45 lb ft on the clamp bolts for tie rod and drag link - front adjustable track bar clamp bolts are 65 lb ft
Just ordered this, can't wait to get it installed this weekend.
If I was to install a PSC Big Bore Steering box would I run into any issues?
We have a new big bore box kit for this coming out soon - should have them ready to sell near the end of the month or just after.
Question is a Adjustable Track Bar, the Yeti with is adjustable in the center, and the JKS Track Bar is adjustable at the end, some people say the track bars that have the adjustable in the center are not that good because the center is not solid it's a tube that connect both sides together. the ones adjustable at the ends are all solid much stronger. what do you think?
Most track bars with adjusters at the ends are actually not solid, they are hollow and thin walled. The only part of our track bar that is no solid forged steel is the center section, and I can assure you that it will not be a weak point or problem. With the construction of our track bar, you will break a mounting bracket off of your axle or frame before you bend or break our bar. I would not listen to those who say otherwise. Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions.
Why didn’t you wash the area first? My pet peeve
We were on a bit of a time crunch and this was an employee jeep - he had just been to an OFFROAD park and was heading to one right after this was completed, so we didn’t spend the time cleaning it
Where to go to have someone or someplace put it on my JKU

Lower adjustable control arms will put the axel back in it stock location when lifted the axel twist forward and drive line changes it best for anything over 2.0 inches. On the jL and JT if one looks at the steering bx you can watch the frame flex so there a bracket that can be bought to stiffen all that up.
We have a sector shaft brace with track bar reinforcement bracket available for the JL/JT as well as the JK. We recommend anywhere from 5.5-6.5 degrees of caster on the JL/JT depending on the height of lift you’re running.
Question....how come there isn't a way to press out the "ball joint" portion of the ends and just replace that portion when it wears out? Seems like a waste of steel having to replace the whole arm end. Thanks.
Thats a good question. If I had to guess, the material around the ball joint isnt enough to support pressing in and out, possibly. but thats not official or anything Im just thinking that may be it. Otherwise, its just industry standard to not do that, possibly for money but maybe other things considered.
Maybe add a link here to your website featuring the boot for purchase. Great information, thanks.
Thank you for the suggestion - links for the boot seal tool as well as the 30mm boot seal have been added to the information.
Bought a sahara 2018 same day dead wobble and same day return it and they got it fix who knows what they did to it but is all good! Hope it stays like that
